Sexy Pinup Calendar for Social Media Divas Starts Twitter Cat Fight

The pinup calendar contest is the latest buzz media stunt of the sexy blogger who's tagline is "Structure and Discipline for Naughty Marketers." Her blog, MistressMia.com, is rapidly becoming both a guilty pleasure as well as a marketing resource to rival the ever edgy Seth Godin.

The contest, hosted on a Facebook group has been attracting Dita Von Teese type professional pinup models as well as some very impressive (and sexy) female bloggers. But, scandal travels fast online.

The minute she put the racy video of the first contestants up on YouTube, friends started forwarding her scalding Twitter posts made by vocal detractors who felt that she'd gone too far.

"Why has it become beauty OR brains?" says Mistress Mia. "I look at who has entered this contest and know that I am not alone in believing that a woman or a man, has every right to play to their strengths to get attention in a noisy marketplace."

Winners will be featured in the 2009 print calendar available early January, and according to Mistress Mia, will get her special brand of buzz, which means huge publicity exposure. She plans to make the downloadable version of the calendar available for free at her website.
